Analysis of fluid transport and selection criteria for steel

[Abstract] Great variety of steel pipes are required in the projects, which causes the confusion of pipes' utilization in the actual construction. On the basis of combining with the current standards of our country, this article briefly analyzes the corresponding technical requirements about the manufacture, materails and utilization of the steel piping for fluid transportation.

1. Introduction
Steel pipe manufacturing standards in China, there are structural steel pipe and fluid transport of the points. Structural steel used primarily in metal structures such as bridges, steel frame, etc., it is only required to ensure strength and stiffness, and tightness of the pipe not a requirement.
Steel is mainly used for the conveyance of fluids with pressure fluid transfer, which in addition to ensure that the requirements in compliance with the appropriate strength and rigidity, but also sought assurances that closed, that is required in the factory steel hydraulic pressure test by the root. 3. Conclusion
All kinds of steel pipe for fluid transport material, performance, specifications and standards applicable to conditions there are stringent regulations, not only structural steel and steel pipe can not be mixed with fluid transport, a variety of fluid transport tube can not freely mix between. So in the actual construction of all the fluid transport pipe, fittings and welding materials used should be aware of the following questions: 1, note that in the production and construction in strict accordance with the appropriate standards in the selection; 2, attention must be in accordance with the design documents types of requirements, specifications, material selection, etc.; 3, note that the construction should be in accordance with their production technical level required for use; while steel factory must have a quality certificate and certification, production and construction materials should be identified and inspection and test status flags, etc., so as not to mix the serious consequences.
