Abstract: This article had made an analysis on the Tourism-related issues of Chengdu and explored the tourist Information inquiry system of Chengdu based on Mobile GIS, combining with windows mobile operating system, and using Arcgis Server Mobile's secondary development module as an embedded GIS's secondary development platform. This article detailed the functional components of the system modules, elaborated the key technology and implementation method of tourist Information inquiry system of Chengdu. The article provided a practical foundation for the establishment of the city's "Special Economic Zone".
